THE backstory

Blending my performance and corporate experiences to amplify voices and inspire action.

Born into a world of the arts, with a classically-trained singer for a mother and an actor for a father, I was destined to find my way to the stage. The energy and joy I carried led me to perform as an Elvis impersonator in my teenage years—an experience that taught me the power of captivating an audience.

Graduating from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theater Performance, I was shaped by a deep love for the arts instilled in me by my classically-trained singer mother and actor father. From a young age, I embraced life with exuberance and joy, even finding my passion for performing as an Elvis impersonator during my teenage years.

After exploring competitive swimming, I returned to my theatrical roots and discovered a new calling in the media and production industry. My tenure at the Discovery Channel provided me with invaluable insights into the power of storytelling and the importance of representation in media.

But it was at Microsoft, hosting my first event, where I truly found my calling: using performance to foster inclusivity, spark conversations, and inspire action. Hosting my first Microsoft event opened my eyes to the potential of my platform to effect positive change and inspire others to embrace diversity and inclusion. My engagement with the ADCOLOR community further fueled my passion for leveraging performance as a catalyst for social impact.

Today, I’m excited to empower organizations, nonprofits, and schools to embrace diversity and drive positive change through my keynote speaking, emceeing, hosting, and performance pieces. My goal is to leave a lasting impression on audiences, sparking meaningful conversations and forging connections that transcend differences.
